Ti minutter Dansk

Step 8, set 8

A word a day

The text

Tip for the adult

Read it twice if you can: the first time to get the words right and the second time to read it as a whole.

"Paraply," sagde hun.

Det var helt rigtigt.

On to the talk

Talk about the text

Tip for the adult

Talk about the three questions. The third is about your child's own life and has no right answer.

  1. Which word did the child teach grandma yesterday?Hvilket ord lærte barnet farmor i går?

  2. Why did grandma look at the child when she took the umbrella?Hvorfor kiggede farmor på barnet, da hun tog paraplyen?

  3. Do you know a word in a language other than Danish?

Done for today

Colour the star in the reading passport.

Write the words

The words are from set 6, "The bike that disappeared", and set 7, "The phone in the toilet".

Say the word, or tap the speaker, and your child writes it on a piece of paper. Open the word afterwards and see if it matches.

  2. Show the word

  3. Show the word

Write together: Your child tells you one sentence about the story, and you write it down. Then your child reads the sentence aloud.
